Fram was one of the strongest ships ever to be built, it was designed to float on top of the ice. When Fritjof realized his ship would not pass over the North Pole, he set out to reach by ski. In 1896, Nansen and Johansen spent the whole winter where they survived on Walrus and Polar bear meat. This puzzle comes complete with 65 custom-cut pieces, some of which are shaped like a dog, a polar bear, a walrus, and a few other arctic animals.
